Illustrated by 16 pages of colour plates, paginated in text and by black and white text figures. Official catalogue of an exhibition organised by the Silver Studio Collection, Middlesex Polytechnic, with funding from Crown Wallcoverings Ltd. and the John Lewis Partnership, held at the Orleans House Gallery, Riverside, Twickenham, 2 December 1989-11 February 1990. Introduction by Mark Turner and essays on The Rediscovery of Wallpaper and The Industry precede the exhibition catalogue of 240 items. It includes work by Enid Marx and Edward Bawden.
