FIRST EDITION. 8vo. 7.5 x 5.25 inches. 160 pp., including list of titles at front. Bound in original red cloth, with black titles, in unclipped pictorial dust wrapper which has minor edge wear and a top corner damp stain. Minor wear to extremities, but otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by black and white text figures. Another post-war adventure of Biggles of the Special Air Police, the famous fictional pilot and flying ace character created by the former World War One pilot, Captain W. E. Johns (1893-1968). This story of espionage set in West Berlin, is the seventy fifth in order of publication. Illustrated by the artist, Leslie Stead (1899-1966).
