Illustrated by 12 colour plate, including frontispiece. Decorated by publisher's device on title page. Selected poems on the theme of flowers by Robert Herrick (1591-1674), including 'Corinna's Going A-Maying.' With an introductory note by Algernon Charles Swinburne (1837-1909), critic, playwright and 'poet of the decadent school,' taken from his edition of Herrick's Poems in 'The Muses' Library.' Colour plates by Florence Castle (1867-1959), artist, painter and illustrator.
