Small 8vo. 7.5 x 5 inches. 35 + [1] pp. In pictorial stiff card boards, in matching unclipped dust wrapper, with very slight wear at head and tail of spine. Minor wear to extremities and slight foxing, confined to flyleaves and edges; otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by 54 pages of black and white photographic plates. King Penguin survey of Ancient Greek fired clay statuettes, by Thomas Bertram Lonsdale Webster (1905-74), classicist best known for his studies of Ancient Greek drama, who was Professor of Greek at the University of Manchester, 1931-48 and at University College, London, 1948-68.
