Some browning of flyleaves, but otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated throughout by 96 black and white plates, captioned pp. 113-124 and by text figures. Decorated by chapter heading vignettes. A well illustrated presentation of the erotic sculptures of the Indian subcontinent, which examines the various theories concerning their purpose. By Francis Leeson, F.G.S. First published 1962.
