Flyleaves browned and a slight traces of foxing; otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by engraved title and by 5 colour plates. Illustrated book of verse by Sir Henry Mortimer Durand (1850-1924), author and diplomat, who served in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Spain and the US. The international boundary between Afghanistan and Pakistan is named after him. Some of the poems were first published in magazines.
