FIRST EDITION. 8vo. 8.75 x 5.75 inches. 287 pp. Bound in original brown cloth, gilt, with facsimile signature on front board, in unclipped pictorial dust wrapper, which is water stained with chips at head and tail of spine. A little wear to extremities and slight damp stains to edges; otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by 8 pages of black and white photographic plates. Map endpapers. First UK hardback edition of the Reminiscences of the Cuban Revolutionary War, from November 1956 until the entry into Havana on the 1st January 1959. Assembled from the campaign diaries of guerilla fighter, Che Guevara (1928-67). It includes In Tribute to Che by Fidel Castro and twenty six letters by Che Guevara at the end. Translated from the Spanish Pasajes de la Guerra Revolucionaria, first published in Havana in 1963 with other chapters added in 1967.
