Spine sunned and a small nick at foot of p.7; otherwise a very good clean copy. Illustrated by numerous black and white sketches, many whole page, including frontispiece and vignette title. Descriptive account, based on a bicycle journey, of the settlements of Essex County, Massachusetts, including Lynn, Marblehead, Salem, Beverly, Manchester, Gloucester and Rockport. Written and illustrated by Edmund Henry Garrett (1853-1929), US artist, author, bookplate maker and illustrator of numerous books.
