Illustrated by 21 black and white photographic illustrations, including frontispiece. Sporting and hunting reminiscences of India, with episodes on the Afghan border and in Iraq. By Lieutenant-General Hugh Gray Martin (1887-1969), Royal Artillery, who served in India during the inter-war years, including as an instructor at the Staff College, Quetta, before commanding anti-aircraft units 1938-42 (for details of service see Generals website).
