[viii]+ 141 + [1] pp. Bound in original orange cloth, with black titles and cartoons on boards, in unclipped pictorial dust wrapper, which has some edge wear and chips at head and tail of slightly sunned spine. Some sunning of board edges, but otherwise a very good copy. Signature on half title. Illustrated throughout by cartoons. Decorated by publisher's device on verso of title. Pictorial endpapers. A humorous look at motoring, the second collaborative work by the cartoonist, Fougasse (Cyril Kenneth Bird, 1887-1965), poster designer and editor of Punch 1949-53, and by William Donald Hamilton McCullough (1901-71), Irish born writer and broadcaster, Chairman of The Brains Trust on BBC Radio, 1941-49.
